Dedicated to enhancing wellness and promoting preventative health measures through IV hydration therapy in Southwest Iowa and the Omaha area.
I grew up in Columbus, NE, and moved to Omaha to attend Creighton University, where I received by BSN in 2002. After that, I worked as an RN in Labor and Delivery and Emergency. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2010 with a master's degree in nursing, and began practicing as a nurse practitioner in various area hospitals in Omaha and Council Bluffs. I live in Papillion (GO MONARCHS!) and have two children. In my free time I enjoy travel, football, movies, hiking, and reading.

IV hydration is a medical procedure where fluids are delivered directly into a person's bloodstream through a vein. This method is commonly used when someone needs to quickly replenish fluids, electrolytes, or other substances that their body requires. IV hydration can be used in various situations.
IVy Lounge, LLC provides this service for dehydration from illness, excessive sweating, vomiting, or diarrhea, medical treatments for chronic migraine management, and nutritional support if a person cannot eat or absorb nutrients adequately through their gastrointestinal tract or inadequately obtains vitamins in their diet.
The fluids administered during IV hydration typically contain a combination of water, electrolytes (such as sodium, potassium, and chloride), and sometimes other
medications. The composition of the IV solution can be tailored to the specific needs of the individual receiving treatment.
IV hydration is administered by a trained healthcare professional. The procedure involves inserting a small plastic tube (catheter) into a vein, usually in the arm, and connecting it to a bag of IV fluids. The fluids then flow from the bag into the bloodstream through the catheter, providing rapid hydration and other necessary substances to the body.
